JURIED ART SHOW / ART EXHIBIT FinnFest USA ’99 With its theme Roots and Wings, FinnFest USA ’99 celebrates our Roots in Finland and in the USA. Our heritage gives us Wings of inspiration and invention. Your art comes from your inspiration. We are inviting artists with Finnish heritage to share their art at FinnFest as inspiration to all. The Arts/Exhibits Committee welcomes artists of every age and experience. Your medium for exhibiting may be in any category, such as: Paintings in oil, acrylic, or watercolor; Color or black and white Photography; Drawings, Sculpture and Ceramics. Please list your media and indicate Professional, Non-professional, or Children. The Professional category will be a juried art show. The other categories are intended for displaying art with Finnish related themes or work by artists with Finnish heritage. Spouses of people with Finnish heritage are also eligible to submit their work. More than one entry and more than one category may be submitted. Please provide the approximate size to facilitate our planning process. Your work needs to be ready for display and hanging. PLEASE FILL OUT THE INFORMATION BELOW IN ORDER TO SUBMIT YOUR ARTWORK. If your submission is for the Professional Category, we request you to include either a slide or photo of your artwork. We cannot guarantee your work will be accepted due to space constraints, but every attempt will be made to accept work from each person. Professional Artists will jury the art in the Professional category and we will award monetary prizes for Best of Show, and Honorable Mention. Ribbons will be awarded in the non-professional category and for children’s work. There are no entry fees in any category.
